Survive The Day
SURVIVAL ISN’T THE END OF THE STORY
Sometimes It’s Where the Story Begins
FBI Special Agents Marina Butnari and Doug Hill are hunting an international crime syndicate whose human-trafficking operation reaches far beyond the people who transport and imprison victims.
For Marina, the investigation is personal. Years ago, she was one of those victims. Now, she and Doug follow a trail that leads from the streets of Las Vegas to a web of money, power, and corruption stretching across borders.
As they get closer to the truth, the hunters become the hunted. When the people they love are targeted, Marina and Doug must decide how far they’re willing to go to expose the system—and whether they can survive the cost.
The agents race to stop something truly evil. But what happens when there’s nowhere left to run?
Why You Might Enjoy This Story…
Special Agents Marina Butnari and Doug Hill hit their stride as an elite partnership assigned to a top-secret multi-agency task force to address human trafficking. The novel’s action, however, doesn’t involve just the good guys and the bad guys. In this novel, readers are taken behind the scenes to meet the families of the agents—and some of the unique personalities working for the criminal syndicate the agents chase.
As in real life outside of fiction, not all is as it seems, and sometimes the difference between good and evil—is only perspective. Pastor Tom Burns and his female companion, Teresa, have supporting roles in the story. My friend in real life, Jim Davison (a retired FBI veteran who I depend on to keep my crime-fiction stories credible) continues to fictionally manage the FBI domain in Reno where Butnari and Hill work😊 You can do that if you write fiction.

“Featuring a fascinating and dynamic cast, Coe weaves an intriguing plot. The suspense and ingenious plot twists kept me on the edge of my seat. Coe pays great attention to detail, but just enough so as not to bog down the pace of the plot.”
