A heartwarming story about life, family, and relationships … that rides on the metaphor of Baseball.
Shane Reynolds, an Indiana high school pitching star, chooses to attend tiny Division III Lefton College. On his first day at the school, he meets Charlie Hamilton, a senior and the catcher for the college’s baseball team. Together, the two ballplayers experience a charmed season that leads their team, the Monarchs, to a berth in the NCAA Division III National Championship Tournament.
